Pediatric Occupational Therapist (full-time)
Pace Pediatric Therapy is a growing, small clinic in Portland, OR. We currently serve children from birth to 18 years old with physical therapy and occupational therapy services, and over the next few years we plan to grow our multi-disciplinary team to include speech therapy.
Pace Pediatric Therapy is looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist. We are looking for someone who believes in our mission to provide children with patient-first, evidence-based, and goal-achieving therapy in an atmosphere of hope that celebrates forward progress in all its forms.
Job Requirements:
Master's or Doctorate Occupational Therapy Degree.
Active Oregon Occupational Therapy License.
Pediatric experience preferred, however new graduates are welcome to apply.
COVID vaccinations.
Excellent communication with children, families, co-workers, and other medical professionals.

Pay:
$39 - 45 per hour, depending on experience.
Receptionist/Intake Specialist (full-time)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist/Patient Intake Specialist with a passion for customer service and making every interaction extraordinary. As the first point of contact for our clinic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for our patients and their families. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently manage a variety of tasks with professionalism and a team-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcoming Patients and Visitors: Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and cared for from the moment they arrive.
Patient Intake Management: Accurately complete patient intake processes, including verifying and updating necessary information in medical records, entering demographics, insurance details, and appointment data into the electronic record system.
Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring proper documentation and communication with patients.
Financial Coordination: Determine, inform, and collect appropriate visit fees, including co-pays and payments, and assist patients with payment options.
Insurance Coordination: Obtain referrals and authorizations as required, ensuring coordination of insurance benefits for patients.
Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks, such as copying, faxing, filing, applying patient payments, preparing billing sheets, and generating reports as needed. Familiarity with patient benefit platforms and cost estimators is a plus.
Telephone Communication: Answer calls promptly and courteously, identifying yourself to callers, and addressing their inquiries or directing them to the appropriate department.
Qualifications:
A passion for working with people and providing exceptional customer service.
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Prior experience in a medical office or customer service setting is preferred.
Clear, professional, and courteous communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
Compliance with state and federal COVID-19 vaccination mandates, including providing proof of vaccination or a valid medical or religious exemption as a condition of employment.
