Safety & Wellness Policy

In-Person Appointments

At Pace Pediatric Therapy, safety is our highest priority. We are committed to protecting staff, patients and family members. When illness occurs in your household resulting in the cancellation of an in-person appointment, Pace is happy to offer you a virtual appointment via telehealth.

Restricting Visitors

We appreciate keeping visitors at a minimum in order to reduce the risk of exposure between patients, visitors and staff. We understand that circumstances exist whereby more than the patient’s caregiver must also be present. Our waiting area will accommodate such visitors.

Masks & Hand Sanitizer

Everyone is asked to sanitize their hands when they enter the clinic. In addition, each therapist washes or sanitizes their hands before and after each patient encounter. Exam rooms are fully cleaned and disinfected between each patient.

Flu, Fever, Virus, etc.

If you are having any signs or symptoms of illness, please call and reschedule your appointment. It’s important to remain at home when sick and not return to therapy until fever-free (without fever-reducing medication) for at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. If you must cancel an appointment due to a sibling being ill, please consider our telehealth services.
